Welcome to the January 21st edition of the BellaOnline Anime newsletter!
This week, I posted three new overview articles to the website. There's one one .hack//Sign, one for Berserk, and one for Neon Genesis Evangelion. All three of these articles can be found in the "Current Anime" section of BellaOnline's Anime site. There's also links to all three articles later in this newsletter.
I also added some words to the list for BellaOnline's Anime word games. The new words come from all three anime series I posted overview articles for this week (.hack//Sign, Berserk, and Neon Genesis Evangelion).
There's now a new "Editor's Recommendation" on the main page for BellaOnline's Anime site. The item I'm recommending now is Pokemon X: Ten Years of Pokemon, which is a soundtrack CD that contains music from the first nine seasons of Pokemon.
And for those of you who are fans of very early anime, I started a thread in the Anime forum this week that may be of interest. A new company has been formed, with its goal of distributing very early anime on DVD. They have announced their first DVD release, which contains eight cartoons that came out between 1930 and 1942. For more information, you can read the forum topic, "Some early anime being released on DVD." There's a link to the forum later in this newsletter.
