Welcome to the January 28th edition of the BellaOnline Anime newsletter!
Over the weekend, I learned that veteran anime director Hisayuki Toriumi (known for directing such shows as Gatchaman and The Mysterious Cities of Gold) has passed away on January 23. So, on January 25, I posted a biography of Hisayuki Toriumi, which can be found in the "Anime Biographies" section of the Anime site. A link to the biography is also included later in this newsletter.
This week, I also posted an overview article for Sorcerous Stabber Orphen (which can be found in the "Current Anime" section of the Anime site, or you can click on the link that appears later in the newsletter). I also posted reviews for Best of Inuyasha (a CD of music from Inuyasha that was released in Japan) and for World's Best Pokemon Drawing Book. Links to both of these reviews can be found later in the newsletter. I also added words related to Sorcerous Stabber Orphen to the list for the Anime word games.
Thank you very much for your support of BellaOnline's Anime site, Anime newsletter, and Anime forums. Watch your inbox next Wednesday for the first BellaOnline Anime newsletter for February 2009.
