I just sent out the October 13th newsletter, which I did as an HTML newsletter as an experiment. It's an idea I'd been toying with for a while, and this is the first chance I had to actually put one together and send it out.

As my husband reminded me, though, some mail programs may not properly display an HTML newsletter, or they may reject an HTML newsletter outright. If, after reading this message, you see that you either didn't receive the October 13th newsletter, or if your copy didn't display properly, please respond back to this message and let me know. If I get enough feedback from readers that the HTML newsletter gave them problems, then I will return to a text newsletter.

If you did receive the HTML newsletter, what did you think of it? I know it's a little plain-looking right now, but if I continue doing an HTML newsletter, then I can work at fine-tuning it. If you did get an HTML newsletter perfectly, but would rather get a text newsletter, please let me know this as well. Again, if I get enough feedback from readers who prefer a text newsletter, then I will return to a text format for future newsletters.
