Welcome to the November 11th edition of the BellaOnline Anime newsletter!
Here are the headlines to come out of the anime industry since last week's newsletter:
*The twelfth Pokemon film, Arceus and the Jewel of Life, will debut on Cartoon Network on Friday, November 20. Watch your local listings for the exact airtime.
*Astro Boy earned an estimated $2,588,000 at the U.S. box office over the November 6-8 weekend, and the total only fell 25.2% from last week. However, the film dropped from #7 to #10 on the U.S. box office chart. Astro Boy has now grossed an estimated $15,073,000 to date. The film was shown in 1,918 theaters (which is down 1,102 theaters from last week), and had an estimated per-screen average of $1,349.
