Welcome to the December 31 edition of the BellaOnline Anime newsletter!
This week, I made a change to the subsections of the Anime site. The "Inuyasha" subsection has become the "Rumiko Takahashi Anime" subsection. Since the amount of material from Ranma 1/2 had increased, it really needed to be put into a subsection. However, I have a limit as to how many subsections I can have for the Anime site, so it made sense to use the already existing subsection for Inuyasha and turn it into a subsection focusing on anime properties based off of manga created by Rumiko Takahashi. At some point in the future, I hope to be able to also cover Maison Ikokku and Urusei Yatsura, so making this change made the most sense. So now, you can find articles about Inuyasha and Ranma 1/2 in this subsection.
Speaking of Ranma 1/2, I posted a review of the Ranma 1/2 Fourth Season Box Set, which I added to the "Rumiko Takahashi Anime" subsection. There's also a link to this review later in this newsletter. This box set was added to the Anime Shop, and it's also an Editor's Recommendation on the main page of the Anime site. I also added Metropolis and Pokemon X: Ten Years of Pokemon to the Anime Shop.
This week, I also posted reviews of: Eye on Art: Anime in the "Anime Book Reviews" subsection, Robotech Legacy Box 3 in the "Robotech and Related" subsection, and Hello Kitty & Friends Volume 7 in the "Anime DVD Reviews" subsection. Links to all three of these reviews can be found later in this newsletter.
