Welcome to the March 4th edition of the BellaOnline Anime Newsletter!
If you were subscribed to the newsletter back in September, you might remember that it was a theme month ("Soundtrack September"). This month will be another theme month at BellaOnline's Anime section: Classic Anime Month. This means that each week in March, there will be at least one article related to classic anime (my basic definition of "classic anime" is that an anime property is at least twenty years old). However, if you aren't a fan of classic anime, don't worry! Each week, there will also be at least one article that isn't related to classic anime.
This week, I've posted three articles related to classic anime: a review of the Voltron Volume 3 DVD set, a review of the Beast King GoLion Volume 3 DVD set, and an overview article for Bubblegum Crisis. I also added Bubblegum Crisis-related words to the list for the Anime word games on the site.
I created a new sub-shop to the Anime Shop (the Voltron / Beast King GoLion subshop), and here you can find all three volumes of the Beast King GoLion DVD sets, as well as the first three volumes of the Voltron DVD sets. And the Beast King GoLion Volume 3 DVD set is an "Editor's Recommendation" on the main page of the Anime site.
This week, the non-classic anime article is an overview of Sonic X. I also added some Sonic X-related words to the list for the Anime word games.
