This year, BellaOnline's Anime section is celebrating "The Year of the Dragon Ball" in honor of The Year of the Dragon, by posting a new Dragon Ball-related article every other week during 2012. The seventh article for the celebration is a review of the Dragon Ball Z Kai Season One DVD box set.

I have also started watching the simulcasts of some of the new anime series from Japan for the Spring 2012 season. I have viewed and posted overview articles for the Space Brothers and Folktales From Japan anime series. I also added words from Space Brothers to the list of words for the Anime word games.

In addition, I have also posted a biography of voice actor Takeshi Aono and a review of the DVD released for Escaflowne The Movie. I have added Escaflowne The Movie to the Anime Shop, and I am also featuring it as an "Editor's Recommendation" on the main page of the Anime site.
