Welcome to the June 11th edition of the BellaOnline Anime Newsletter!
This week, I posted an overview article for Green Green, as well as a review of the Green Green Complete DVD box set. Links to both of these articles can be found later in this newsletter. I also added Green Green-related words to the word list for the anime word games, as well as added Green Green Complete to the Anime Shop.
I also posted a review of Inuyasha The Movie: Affections Touching Across Time; a link to this review can be found later in this newsletter. The movie was also added to the Anime Shop.
This week, I also have a couple of pieces of news for any Pokemon fans on the list. First, during the last two weekends of June (June 20-22 and June 27-29), GameStop will be offering Deoxys to owners of the Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl Nintendo DS games. All you need to do is to bring your Nintendo DS and your game cart to your local participating GameStop. Also, Burger King will be launching a Pokemon Kids' Meal promotion, which runs July 7-August 2 in the United States (and in the late summer and early fall internationally). The promotion consist of 12 exclusive Pokemon Trading Card game cards and accessories; all the cards and accessories are tied in to Pokemon: Diamond & Pearl.
I actually broke both of these Pokemon stories yesterday on BellaOnline's Anime forum. I've been using the forum to post anime news items, as well as letting visitors know when I've updated the Anime site. If you'd like to check out the Anime forum, there's a link to it later in this newsletter. Actually, this would be a great time to check out the forum, because the BellaOnline site recently completed upgrading their forum area.
