Welcome to the July 2 edition of the BellaOnline Anime Newsletter!
This week, I posted a review of Miayzaki's landmark film, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. I have also featured Nausicaa as an Editor's Pick on the main page of the Anime section, and the film has been added to the Anime Shop's Studio Ghibli shop. I've also reviewed the Revolutionary Girl Utena Black Rose Saga DVD box set.
And I also posted an overview article for Aquarion, and added Aquarion-related words to the anime word game list. Links to all three of these new articles will be included later in the newsletter.
I've also started an account at the social networking site, Twitter, where I've been posting updates about what anime I'm watching. If you follow the updates, you'll get "sneak peeks" as to reviews you'll eventually see posted at the site. If you'd like to follow along with my Twitter feed, my URL is: http://twitter.com/ljaesch
I'm also in the process of researching anime clubs around the world to put together a directory similar to the directory I have for anime conventions, and if you have any information to contribute, please either post in the forum (link is included later in the newsletter), or you can use the contact form at the Anime site to send me information. Thank you for any help you can give!
Speaking of the anime convention directory articles, I made one more revision to the articles. In each regional article, I have broken out the conventions by state (or by country, if it's one of the international articles). I think this change will make it even easier for readers to find anime conventions in their area.
