July 11 2012 Appalachia Newsletter

Greetings to all folks near and far. I hope you have found great ways to stay cool during hot summer temps. A spray bottle filled with water and maybe some cooling herbs like mint may really help you keep your cool -- just spritz the cooking water high up in front of you and walk into the mist.

One of my passions in writing is to explore history and find women who made an impact in the lives of others.

Here is my latest article from the BellaOnline.com Appalachia site, about women in history.

Women Of The Dawn - Book Review
Bunny McBride brings forth the story of four amazing Abenaki women in her book, Women Of The Dawn. The transitions these women made and the resistance they had to overcome is remarkable.

Please join me in my forum to discuss this or any of my articles. There are also other topics on Appalachia, fun games, and just chatting with friends. Come make some new online friends and take some time for fun and chat.

Till next time, enjoy your week and may you walk in peace and harmony.
