December 25 2008 Art Appreciation Newsletter

Happy Holidays from all the editors at Bellaonline.com.

It doesn't matter if you celebrate Hanukkah, Christmas, or Kwamzaa, we are all guardians of the plants and animals that share our planet Earth.

Consumerism is alive and well in the U.S. despite our slowing economy, but
I have seen more people this holiday season contributing to those less fortunate, instead of the usual over indulging in items that they really don't need.

I encourage you to think of those people who are having difficulties and also animals that are endangered and on the brink of becoming extinct.

I believe God created the creatures on the earth for a reason, even if the reason isn't obvious to our way of thinking.

I hope you'll enjoy reading my article on Wyland's Whaling Wall and donate to causes that make your heart feel glad.

One organization that is helping to conserve nature in all its glory is the World Wildlife Fund. You can visit their site: www.worldwildlife.org.

Think about the planet and what we are leaving as a legacy for our children and future generations. Organizations like the World Wildlife Fund raise awareness and do make a difference.

Here's the latest article from the Art Appreciation site at BellaOnline.com.

Saving Wyland’s Famous Whaling Wall Mural
The marine artist known simply as Wyland completed his 100th in a series of Whaling Wall murals in Beijing, China for the 2008 Olympics. Now some of his sea life murals in the U.S. are endangered.
