"The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown has been on the NY Times bestseller booklist for an amazing 97 weeks. I wonder if the murder mystery is what appeals to the reader or the mystique that surrounds Leonardo and the "Mona Lisa?" Da Vinci was truly a Renaissance man, centuries ahead of his time. His inventions and his art are legendary. He was also clever in how he wrote reverse handwriting. Knowing this, why wouldn't Leonardo have hidden messages in his paintings? Some other questions that come to mind are, "Why was the chalice missing from "The Last Supper?" and "Is the person to the right of Jesus, Mary Magdalene?" We can only speculate and then believe in what seems to be a reasonable explanation. Perhaps Leonardo did leave us clues to direct us towards answers to these mysteries. Dan Brown is instrumental in helping us address some of these questions. Buy Posters Here From AllPosters.com
