The latest addition to my daily To Do list is participating in NaNoWriMo2013, National Novel Writing Month. I gave up fiction writing years ago because it interfered with family and business, but it has remained on my Bucket List until now. Means I need to produce about 1700 words per day in order to achieve 50K by November 30. As this is not expected to produce polished prose, LOL, I can practice shutting off the inner editor and a lifetime of perfectionism. Progress on the words is apace, but the latter is proving challenging!
Still, that is only about an hour a day if I refrain from rewriting. Does add to the fussing I can engage in, however. Hence this article from the Baha'i site at BellaOnline.com.
5 Steps to Peace of Mind
They are probably not news, but they are tools that I know personally will work. When I remember to use them.
Also, this weekend is a holiday here in the USA (Veteran's Day, Nov. 11) and followed by the biggest annual celebration for Bahá'ís (Anniversary of the Birth of Bahá'u'lláh, Nov. 12). And, just to make my life more interesting, my youngest brother, oldest child and one grandchild all have birthdays this coming week!
For a brief description of the how and why of community celebrations of the Birth of Bahá'u'lláh, see this older article on bahai.bellaonline.com - You could be invited to a party!
