Here's the latest article from the Baha'i site at BellaOnline.com. Stuff happens. Sometimes continuing life seems unbearable. Some pain IS unbearable! But Bahá'u'lláh taught that no soul is given a test which it cannot handle--with determination and help from prayer, friends and family. It is possible to decide NOT to weather and learn from tests, however. This is a choice each one must make, and none of the rest of us should judge another, because each of us should be concentrating upon our own spiritual growth...
Suicide is not an option for Bahá'ís, because their faith teaches that the purpose of this one chance at physical life is to develop the virtues needed for eternal spiritual life. They expect learning to involve mistakes and tests, both of which can cause pain, but help define progress.
