This weekend, Rick Riordan did a book signing at our local Barnes and Noble. He's the author of a few juvenile urban fantasy series that are based in mythology. My daughter dressed up for the event in an Anubis mask she made out of cardboard and duct tape. Mr. Riordan complimented her costume and it was one of the pictures he posted on his blog!
I'm so proud of her creativity. The Egyptian theme inspired this broad collar coloring page that beaders might enjoy.
