June 8 2012 Beadwork Newsletter

Hi Everyone!
The weather here has been more springlike than summery with the exception of a few days. One of those days was last weekend and my family went to the local ren faire. My daughter brought with her a TARDIS she made out of duct tape for lots of photos. Bringing a TARDIS to a ren faire turned out to be a great conversation starter. Apparently lots of performers are also big Doctor Who fans!
Here's the latest article from the Beadwork site at BellaOnline.com.

3 Loom Strip Patterns
By request, here are 3 patterns for looming that can be repeated for long strips, a red, white and blue pattern, a rainbow chevron pattern and an argyle pattern as well blank graph paper.

Interweave's annual Hurt Book sale starts today. Every year, they sell gently damaged books they've had returned from book stores at deep discounts. They've been doing it since they were a paper catalog and it's a great chance for a good deal on beading and other craft art books.

If you want to see a photo of my daughter's TARDIS, there is one here-
