June 9 2009 Beadwork Newsletter

Hello! I hope you are all enjoying your summers.
I've been working on redoing the layout of my home page. There's a link at the end of the newsletter, and going out a lot with my family to enjoy the weather. It's been in high 60s low 70s here in Anchorage, and if you know an Alaskan, you know we bust out the shorts at 50 degrees.

Here's the latest article from the Beadwork site at BellaOnline.com.

Differences Between 1 and 2 Drop Peyote Stitch
How choosing your graph can affect your pattern, and why sometimes using a non-standard stitch can be better.

We went out to Potter's Marsh the other day, and saw a bald eagle. You can see a really bad picture of it here.

We also saw geese, and as you'll see in today's article, ravens.

My homepage, which does have some free bead patterns and other things on it hadn't had a new layout in a long time, I was still using the same banner from 1998. So I spent the last couple of weeks working on a new layout. You can see that at
