Thoughts & Intents

But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart. Luke 2:19

A Christmas Contemplation

Slow down. I know you have seventeen people coming for Christmas dinner. The snow is deep, the tree is shedding needles, the pageant costumes will never be finished in time, you still have to buy something for Uncle Fred, and the credit card bill is truly terrifying. Take a deep breath, read this and see if you can absorb the slower pace at which the first Christmas story happened.

From my heart to yours

It’s Christmas Eve. The ham is baking, wafting a mouthwatering aroma through the house. The snow outside tells tales of deer and snowshoe hares trekking through when I’m not paying attention. Have a lovely, gentle Christmas, and I’ll be back next week.

Serving our sweet Savior,
