Thoughts & Intents

Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. All of you, take up My yoke and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for yourselves. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

But I am Weary

Last week I insisted that we not grow weary in doing good. Today I am so weary. No doubt some of you are, too. Were not so much weary of doing good, perhaps, but just downright exhausted. Weariness is a great hindrance to doing the good we want to do, so maybe it will help if I analyze why were so tired, and explore some passages in Scripture that give direction and help in dealing with weariness.

From my heart to yours

The sun is shining on my computer screen. Im so glad the sun is shining, I dont even care about the glare. Should I risk the clothesline? Or will that bring on a thunderstorm?? Oh, the risky decisions of spring. Saw two deer in our yard this morning, gazing longingly through the really tall garden fence. Heh, heh. I hope your spring is being glorious.
