Recently I had written for the Mexico site an article titled "Bird Care In Mexico" in which I somewhat graphically detailed that as the rule rather than the exception how poorly "pet" birds were treated in that country. Was that ever a downer! To illustrate that, overall, hopefully that type of treatment is the exception rather than the rule elsewhere, I conducted an email interview with a fellow editor at BellaOnline who per my previous correspondences with her, I discovered that she was an exemplary care provider for her birds.
Interview With a Great Bird Person
Proper "pet" bird care involves many critical factors including knowledge, skills, common bird sense, compassion, time, energy and resources. In the following interview, it is apparent that Connie Mistler Davidson is "a great bird person." I wish that could be said for everyone who "owns" birds.
