Hello.

Somehow, it's Monday again. What a nice weekend it was here. I went out with a friend to explore a new (to me) little town and we wound up parking at a bakery. We both sat down and ate pie, something I rarely do, and took goodies home too. It felt sort of fun to eat sweets with abandon, as I'm usually pretty disciplined about eating healthy foods. But my body was not so happy about it. Indigestion and grumpiness were my rewards for a little sugar indulgence. I think I'm done with that for a while. However, it got me thinking about why we eat and why we gain weight. This time, I like why I ate something I wouldn't normally: I wanted to have some freedom from my normal routine, and I wanted to see how if felt and I did so without guilt. I've been craving healthy food ever since. Spend a little time being mindful of your motivations. Have a wonderful week.
