Love to hear from you at the forum, it's been really quiet in there lately. Got an opinion ? We'd love to hear it !

Hot news from the box:

After cleaning up at the Soap Awards , EastEnders is now going through a major slump. Last week's Tuesday episode only drew 5.2 million viewers- the lowest in its 21 year history. What's happening to the show ?

On the subject of Walford, one of the last two remaining original cast members has quit the show. Wendy Richard, who has portrayed Pauline Fowler through thick and thin, has thrown in the towel. Her last scenes will air in December.

Hop over to the National Television Awards site and vote for your telly faves of the last twelve months. These awards are all decided by the public, so have a say. Your votes must be in by August 4th. Winners will be announced by Sir Trevor McDonald at the ceremony on ITV in November.

If you are a soap fan, you can also cast your vote in the Inside Soap Awards. Winners will be announced on September 25th.

Kevin Whately, best known for his role as the egg 'n' chip loving Sergeant Lewis in Inspector Morse, will star in a new comedy drama for ITV1.  Who Gets the Dog ? will also star Alison Steadman.

Finally, congrats to Corrie actor Jane Danson (Leanne Battersby) and hubby Robert Beck- they are now the proud parents of a baby boy.

That's all for this week,

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!

Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
