As Summer Vacation ends, for most families, I started thinking about lemonade stands & how kids think about business.
If you have kids, what do they think you do? Where do they think the household money comes from?
If you don't have kids, what do you think about teaching other people's children about business & money? Do you think it's not your responsibility? Do you care? Would you rather mentor today's kids than have them add to the welfare program you pay for, with your taxes, down the road?
As a Business Coach & Writer, I've been thinking about how the messages we got as children effect how we view, relate to, and have success with money and business as adults. I look at it as my job to educate & entertain you in ways that improve your home & business life. I hope the latest crop of articles is doing exactly that.

This week, the Quick Tip & Challenge are going to focus on being kind to yourself & others.
Quick Tip - Take time, before the end of summer to enjoy the warmth, the sun, the special treats that are harder to come by when Summer fades. I like to find some of my favorite rare summer fruits & savor them. I could live off of berries & cherries all day!
Get It Done Challenge - Inspect your fall wardrobe now. Pick out your favorite outfits & examine how they fit, look, feel. Do any essential pieces need replacing? Next, pick out the pieces you didn't wear much last year. Declutter your closet by giving away ten items you don't absolutely love. Offer them to friends, family or take them to your favorite charity that accepts clothing. If your budget allows, reward yourself with a stylish accent piece that is beautiful to you & goes with at least two of the outfits you already own.
