Greetings fellow travelers! Thank you for stopping by to take a look at the West Coast Travel Newsletter.
The West Coast Travel Newsletter explores the highways and byways of California, Oregon and Washington. West Coast travel truly offers something for everyone—beaches, deserts, snow-capped mountains, National Parks, theme parks, small towns, international cities. Throughout the West Coast you’ll find great places for a family vacation, a romantic getaway, or a self-pampering retreat.
The newsletter provides hints and tips for places to visit, what to see and do, and what clothes to bring.
California, Oregon and Washington are lands of contrast and adventure. The region offers visitors daring whitewater river rafting on the American River in Northern California or on the Rogue river in Oregon as well as more leisurely kayaking around the San Juan Islands in Washington. Vacationers can experience close encounters with dormant volcanos on hikes in the Sierra Nevada, Siskiyou or Cascade mountain ranges or enjoy relaxed walks along the Harbor Island shoreline in San Diego. Winter travelers can seek out the gentler slopes of Badger Pass in Yosemite or head for the Olympic downhill runs at Squaw Valley in Lake Tahoe.
