Greetings everyone and a warm welcome to our newest subscribers and to all of the mothers out there, happy Mother's Day! :)
Spring has been a long time coming with scents of inspiration making their way through open windows. It's a wonderful time of year to send a beautiful thought if mom happens to be watching over us or a letter of gratitude for the many attributes that have found their way rubbing off as the result of our mother's presence.
Intuition, gardening and cooking are a few that have rubbed off from my own mother. The other morning I woke from a dream. It was an odd dream in that it repeated itself with the final words being, "Don't forget...endive." I've never heard of such a thing. I spent a good part of the day Googling the word and learning everything I could about it. It turned out to be a plant of the Dandelion family, also known as Chicory.
For the past month I've walked through the rain, mud and cooler temperatures to purchase groceries never thinking too much about the walk but maybe for the geese overhead. We've had quite a bit of water our way but through the trenches you must go. On my way back from the store one of the handles broke on my grocery bag. I had to stop and had to adjust my bags. Bending down in the middle of the field I noticed I was standing smack dab in the middle of purple endive. I suddenly felt very small in this purple field with a touch of vertigo as the words, "No wayyyyy..." rolled off my tongue. I stuffed a wad of the leaves in my bag just to make sure when I got back home I could compare them to the photos. Sure enough. Now THAT'S a dream but one I'm certain has more of a meaning than what I've stumbled across, thus far ;)
Have a beautiful weekend!
