While traditional is often what people stick with, trying out something new is always worth the effort. Make this creamy and delicious no-egg, no alcohol "egg nog" for family and friends.

Happy Holidays! :)

Recent Recipes and Articles:
Haven't dropped by lately? Here are the currently featured recipes for cocktails, mocktails, reviews, and other articles since my last newsletter:

For coffee junkies, new and tasty versions of our favourite drink are always in style. This iced version adds spice and is welcome no matter what season.
Hot apple cider is divine; but adding mulling spices and slowly warming it up is heavenly. Make extra for later, or give as delicious gifts. Use this recipe to make one spice bag for 2 quarts of mulled apple cider.
More than just an interesting amoebic design from the 70s, the Paisley Martini enjoys a taste and style all its own.
There´s only a certain amount of pleasure one receives from cutting open an envelope of store-bought hot chocolate. Here is my favourite recipe for making a velvety cup from scratch.

Michelle's Swizzle-Stick Tip
Fridge space low? Pop out the soda! There are several ways to keep your fave fizzies cold.

· You can stock a cooler with ice and store it (with the lid) in the kitchen or a shaded area outside.
· In cooler weather, you can store it outside without the ice, but beware of allowing it to freeze or the cans will explode.
· Buy a toddler's wading pool. Fill it with ice and stock with soda.

Cutting Back On Booze?
You can eliminate most, if not all, of the alcohol in the cocktail recipes I feature and write about. To find heavenly recipes for beverages that don't involve any booze at all, check out my always-growing section on Mocktails (which are alcohol-free cocktails). You'll enjoy all of the fun without sacrificing taste!

Simply Dazzle 'Em...
Having a holiday party, or just want to indulge in some holiday and seasonal treats? Here are a few of my best recipes for celebrating the season:

Notes On A Cocktail Napkin...
Need a gift in a hurry? You can pre-order Dessert Cocktails: Classic and Contemporary After-Dinner Drinks from Amazon, and while it won't arrive for Christmas you can tell the recipient they'll receive it when it's freshly printed in January. Voila... you are giving a great gift, and no one will know you left things to the last minute this year. You could also choose to send a present that they will receive instantly: Amazon Gift Certificate that allows your recipient to choose what they most desire.

The BellaOnline Cocktails site has been hugely popular the past few weeks, so I know a lot of you are planning holiday parties and searching for cocktails and recipes for other drinkables. We also have a ton of new subscribers to this newsletter, and I can only hope that I am delivering what you want! Since I've retired my mindreading business you'll have to fill me in on what sorts of recipes and articles you'd like to see on the site. Would you like to find more hints for entertaining? Have you been looking for celebrities and their cocktails? Are you trying to find unusual cocktail recipes, or are you on the hunt for the classics?

Simply email me with your suggestions, requests, and comments and I'll do my best to keep the site up to date with what you are looking for. I'm not going to do anyone's homework for them, but I'm up for adding recipes and fun articles that people are interested in. Let me know what you think, and in the meantime have a happy and safe Christmas season!

Cheers!
