September 15 is Creme de Menthe Day so find a discussion on what that stuff is, anyway, and find a couple of totally dee-lish minty recipes. Grasshopper or Stinger, anyone?

September 19 is usually a rollicking good time on my own (imaginary) tropical island - it’s International Talk Like a Pirate Day. I’m going to shiver me timbers and dance the gangplank while sipping (getting blown away?) with cocktails sporting names such as Sea Breeze, Salty Dog, Blue Hawaiian, and Trade Winds. And please don’t overlook the Sea Dog, Yellow Parrot, and the ever-so-traditional Pirate Grog.

Hmmm . . . Now, where was it I buried that treasure chest?
