Season's Greetings to my fellow crime buffs! For those of you who plan to travel this weekend, please drive safely and designate a driver if you plan to partake in a little adult eggnog. If you're staying home for the holidays, try not to eat too much...oh well, that's what New Year's resolutions are for, right?

12/23/1997-A jury convicts Terry Nichols of manslaughter in the Oklahoma City bombing.
12/24/1992-Caspar Weinberger is pardoned by President George H.W. Bush, for crimes committed during the Iran-Contra affair.
12/25/1996-Six-year-old beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey is murdered in her family's Colorado home.
12/26/1985-Primatologist Dian Fossey is murdered in Rwanda.
12/27/1999-Sean Combs and then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez are at a NYC nightclub when a shooting takes place. Jamal "Shyne" Barrow is later convicted of the shooting.
12/28/1987-Ronald Gene Simmons shoots seven people in Arkansas, killing two. While searching his home after the arrest, police discovered he'd also killed 14 members of his family.
12/29/1997-Indiana nurse Orville Lynn Majors is arrested on suspicion of murdering patients under his care. He was convicted of six murders but is thought to have killed well over 100 people.
