February 9 2008 Crime Newsletter

Dear Subscribers,

My name is Robin, and I am the new Crime editor here at BellaOnline. Some crimes I understand, some I do not, and we may differ in those thought processes. There are definitely crimes I am outraged at, and I will tell you so, but it will not take away from my job of reporting the facts.

I am glad to see so many subscribers of this newsletter, and I hope you will invite your friends to "come ashore"....

Here's the latest article from the Crime site at BellaOnline.com.

Ahoy Mateys AAARRGGGGHHH
People seem to be having a love affair with pirates. You walk into almost any store and there is at least one thing you can purchase that is pirate related. While many people really will not be bothered with pirates, they do exist and are not at sea to act as a welcoming committee.

Crime has interested me as long as I can remember. My favorite crime show of all time is, “Murder She Wrote”, starring Angela Lansbury as mystery writer, J. B. Fletcher. There are others that I watch, but too numerous to name.

My intention is to bring a variety of crime to light and hope that it will help or inform you in some way. Perhaps you may get a little understanding of why the crime was committed. Sometimes, it could be like watching a movie for a second time. There is almost always something that you overlooked the first time. Maybe it will give a student an idea for a topic for his or her report for school.

I do have a sense of humor, which will not take away from the seriousness of this subject. Sometimes you just need a little "time out" now and then. Be sure to visit the Dumb Criminal section in the forum site. Feel free to add a Dumb Criminal story of your own.

To participate in free, fun online discussions, this site has a community forum all about Crime located here –

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!

Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!

Also, in the forum, there is a poll asking what subjects you would like to see on this Crime website. If there is a subject you would like to know more about, please let me know.
