Rabbits Breeds
There are several different breeds of rabbits. Some breeds are more outgoing; others are laidback and mild. Any breed can be kept as a pet – it’s simply a matter of preferred characteristics.

The Parrot Who Owns Me - Book Review
The Parrot Who Owns Me is a wonderful account of the author’s life with her pet parrot, Tiko. The author, Joanna Burger, is also an ornithologist who offers us a unique perspective as both a scientist and pet owner.

Summer's in full swing here and my birds are still crowding 'round the nestboxes. The ducks have even successfully hid a couple of nests from us. It seems they read the wildlife stats for duck populations being up in the US and they're trying to do their part .... I'm off to buy another harness and leash for Amador, my greenwing. He escaped from my husband this week and gave us a big scare by flying off. We'd been taking him for walks so he's familiar with our neighborhood and where "home" is -- and it must have worked. He was only gone about ten minutes before flying back to the roof of our neighbor's house where he waited patiently for my husband to climb up and get him down. Our ideas about animal rearing don't always jibe with common thought, but every now and again we even surprise ourselves with a small success.

Have a great week!
