Got clutter? If you have a clutter problem but you don’t know where to start clearing it, you are not alone. More than 1.4 million Americans report suffering from chronic hoarding and clutter. The good news is that Feng Shui has the solution to this common problem.
If you have trouble deciding whether an object is clutter or a keeper, ask yourself these six questions to help decide.
1. Do I love it?
2. Do I need it?
3. Does it reflect who I am at this point in my life?
4. Does it have positive emotional attachment?
5. If it needs to be repaired am I willing to pay to fix it right now?
6. If I moved tomorrow would I pay a mover to take it with me?
If your answer was “No” to any one of the questions, the item is clutter and it's time to move it out of your life.
Once you start clutter clearing, you might end up with a pile of things that are still usable. My free tip sheet “88 Feel-Good Reasons To Get Rid of It” includes websites for numerous places where you can donate stuff, take a tax write-off, and feel good while doing it.
