Hello, Everyone--

My latest article on the Feng Shui site at BellaOnline.com is about using the Five Elements in Feng Shui.

"The Five Elements" is the Feng Shui term that describe the colors, shapes, and textures around you and the attributes they bring into your life. The Five Elements are Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, Wood. Each has a characteristic shape and colors, and each brings specific attributes into your life.

Here are a few quick tips for using the colors of the Five Elements in your home and office:

The Fire Element
The color red is associated with love and passion. When you want to attract a new love into your life, wear red jewelry or accessories.

The Earth Element
Yellow is associated with happiness and joy. When you need to lift your mood, add a vase of yellow flowers to your room.

The Metal Element
The color white is clean and represents newness. When you want to start fresh on a project, surrounding yourself with white objects to represent a clean slate.

The Water Element
The color blue is soothing and calming. If you are stressed and need to relax, sleep on blue sheets.

The Wood Element
The color green is associated with growth and expansion. If you feel stuck and need to make a decision, decorate your indoor environment with green plants.

Want to learn more about how to use the Five Elements to color your world and improve your life? Read the complete article at http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art33248.asp.

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email.
