June 18 2009 Feng Shui Newsletter

Hello, Everyone--

My latest article on the Feng Shui site at BellaOnline.com is "Feng Shui For Children's Rooms." Using a few Feng Shui tips when you are arranging your child's room can help create a harmonious space that encourages study, play, and relaxation, and that results in a happy and healthy child.

The most important consideration in using Feng Shui for childrenís rooms is where to place the bed. Feng Shui principles recommend locating the bed where your child can see the door, but not directly in line with it. This will encourage peaceful sleep. The least supportive location for a bed is directly across from the door because this position could make a child feel vulnerable.

If you canít reposition your childís bed, make sure he or she has a substantial headboard and footboard. Or, place furniture at the foot of the bed for protection, such as a small chest or bench. Also, you can hang a movement-sensitive object like bells on the door or doorknob to produce a sound when someone opens the door. This can help make a child feel more secure.

Want more tips for arranging children's rooms? You can find 10 more ideas in the complete article, which is located at this link - http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art47754.asp

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email.
