October 3 2012 Folklore and Mythology Newsletter

Greetings to all folks near and far.

October! Where did summer go? So many pumpkins are showing up for the season. Lovely flower arrangements in autumn colors grace homes, offices and stores. Scarecrows are smiling at all who pass by. Black cats are once again popular. And kids are getting excited at the thought of trick-or-treating.

What are your rules for safety when your kids go out on Halloween night to gather treats and goodies from neighbors? If you do not have rules, please think about it and make sure your children are safe and protected, chaperoned, and do not eat any treats till they get home and you check all the candies, etc.

If you have never heard or read about the legends of Glastonbury in Somerset, England, here is your chance to find out about them. Glastonbury Abbey, Glastonbury Tor, the Holy Grail, and much more. Come read my article and find out about this enchanting and beautiful land of mystery and legend.

Here is my latest article from the Folklore and Mythology site at BellaOnline.com.

Glastonbury Legends Of Old
There are so many legends of Glastonbury and so very much mystery shrouded in the mists of time that fiction and lore are often intermingled with historical facts.

Please join me in the folklore and mythology forum for discussions on this or any of my articles. You can also join in on the Back Porch and enter a world of imagination and fun in a place where you can let go of daily stress and be who you want to be.

Till next time, may your days be filled with the loveliness of autumn and childhood memories -- leaf jumping and all. Walk in peace and harmony.
