November 28 2008 Formula One Newsletter

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another F1 newsletter, catching up with the news from the last few weeks, and a recap of some recent articles on the BellaOnline site.

In the news:

Bernie Ecclestone has been in the headlines saying he wants to bring in the medals system in 2009. He believes the teams are behind the idea and just has to get it past the FIA.

Mark Webber suffered a broken leg during his Tasmania Challenge. He was involved in a collision with an SUV, and was airlifted to hospital. He is recovering well and hopes to be back by February.

Red Bull took full control of Toro Rosso, buying out co-owner Gerhard Berger’s 50% shares. It’s unclear what the plans for the future are, and whether the team still intend to sell.
