March 28 2011 German Culture NewsletterIt would still be very unwise to go out in anything resembling summer clothes but nevertheless Spring is making its presence felt in Germany, spring flowers are everywhere, the trees are in bud and now the hour has been changed the evenings are even longer. Flowers and blossom are adding to picturesque landscapes, and from major cities to medieval villages across Germany Fruehling Festivals and events are starting to take place. Evenings are lighter but, to take advantage of the tables and chairs suddenly appearing outside café’s and ice cream parlours, layers are definitely advisable, it is springtime in Germany.
