Well the rains just keep raining here in Seattle. Not unexpected. I can't complain; it's been a wonderful summer with a very mild fall. On days like this, though, my "hike" consists of walking the dog around the building. :) I stay in hiking shape by using the treadmill each day at a walking pace while reading or watching a DVD.

In the meantime I'll be posting more gear reviews. We've been encouraged here at BellaOnline to compile our full-length reviews into 'shops', like my new article below, in time for holiday gift ideas. I will add new reviews to this shop as I write them (I hadn't realized just how few actual reviews I had until I started compiling them). I've divided the reviews into 1. gear, 2. books and media, and 3. trail food products. Have fun!
