Greetings and Salutations everyone!
I'm thrilled - I have reached my lowest weight in the past six years - 129.2 pounds! It's been a lot of work. I was nearly there a month ago - then my son came to visit. Suddenly I gained 7 pounds eating popcorn, mini-hot-dogs-in-crescent-rolls, pizza, pasta, and all that other stuff. I had to work my way back down again. What makes this victory even more sweet is that he came over again last night, so once again the house was full of all those comfort foods! I had to say no to the mini hotdogs, to the Triscuits-and-cheese, to the ice cream sandwiches. I kept my eye on the goal and had my salad instead. And voila! I achieved my target!
Absolutely I know it can be tough if a temptation is there. That's where journaling and milestone signs are so powerful. If you know you will be logging what you eat, and accountable to a forum thread for what you eat, it can help you hold strong against those temptations. Start up a thread in our forums for your goal. We'll cheerlead you and help you succeed!
We've been testing out both the Biggest Loser SlimCoach and the BodyMedia (a relative of the BodyBugg, which the Biggest Loser used to use). We've had ALL sorts of problems with the SlimCoach from catastrophic device failures to numerous errors with their online tracking system. In comparison, the BodyMedia has been superb. I have got most of my SlimCoach notes online now here -
