January 7 2009 Marriage Newsletter

Well, 2009 is underway! Are you making good on your resolutions for a happier marriage? I have to admit, in my eagerness to set resolutions for personal development, I forgot to set a few goals for my own marriage!

It's not too late so here goes: My 2009 resolutions for my marriage include 1) to spend more one-on-one date-like times with my husband (I have a hard time leaving the kids out of our outings!) Weekly date night and a quarterly overnight getaway. My second resolution is to take over the managing of our finances at his request. I won't fight it anymore. It's his Achilles heel. Yes, it would be better for him to learn to face his fears but *shrug* it will strengthen me! I'd love to be a financial guru--at least for our own finances!

Keep up with me to see just how well I follow through on my 2009 resolutions! And speaking of finances...

Here's the latest article from the Marriage site at BellaOnline.com.
