Despite our mild Southern California summer, I'm anxiously awaiting the coming autumn. I'm already making a list of cool weather foods to cook up. And I can't wait to pull out the comforter so hubby and I can cuddle while watching football.

One of my articles this past month was about long distance marriages. Those who can maintain happy long distance marriages, like military wives, earn my utmost respect. They sacrifice quite a lot for their men to go off and serve our country. But more couples today are going long distance for economic reasons, too.
