February 28 2010 Organization Newsletter

Greetings from BellaOnline Organization!

If you're buried under several inches (or several feet!) of snow, spring may seem a long way off. To keep your sanity until the white stuff melts for good and the seasons change, I recommend either hightailing it to a warmer climate for vacation or hunkering down and making the most of your time inside by tackling a few organizing project. Luckily, BellaOnline Organization can help with both of those!

This month's articles are focused on helping you travel smart and bring some calm, control, and order to your files, whether they're paper-based, electronic, or a combination of the two. First up is a review of an online tool designed to make trip planning more organized.

A Review of the Travel Organizing Website TripIt
TripIt.com is a free web-based service designed to help make tracking and organizing travel plans easier. I tried it out, and here's what I thought.

On BellaOnline Organization, you'll also find an article that takes an in-depth look at the new rules and regulations you'll encounter when traveling by air. Knowing what to expect and being prepared before you arrive at the airport can save you lots of time and stress.

Sticking close to home for a while? Use this time to tackle an organizing project or two. With tax season fast approaching, now's a great opportunity to get your files (financial and otherwise) in shape. Here are two articles that can help:

Organizing Your Electronic Files
Though they may not take up physical space like paper files do, electronic files can be just as disorganized and can cause just as much stress. Luckily, getting them in order is a straightforward, easy-to-tackle process.

Get Your Paper Files in Shape for the Year Ahead
Now is the perfect time to clear out last year's files and get your system set up for smooth sailing in the year ahead. Here are 4 steps to take to get your files in shape.

Visit the BellaOnline Organization site, www.bellaonline.com/site/organization, over the coming weeks for a review of Regina Leeds' One Year to An Organized Financial Life, tips on pre-spring organizing projects, and other articles with information and ideas to help you live a more organized life.

My best to you,
