February 20 2006 Photography NewsletterHello and a big, "flashy" welcome to our newest subscribers!
Have you been snapping away to get rid of the mid-winter blahs? We are
back in the middle of an extreme cold snap right now (after some very nice
warm weather) so I'm a little hesitant to go outside. I have taken some
pictures of an incredible, giant drifting icicle that formed outside my
front door, though, so it's great to be bending that creative muscle even
just a little bit.
This week's photography article concerns combining cameras and
fundraising. After London's terrorist bombings, many people personally
affected by what they witnessed decided that they were going to do
something positive to help the victims and their relatives.
Photography and Fundraising - We Are Not Afraid
How Nikki Tysoe, who witnessed London's terrorist bombings in July 2005,
used photography to help raise funds worldwide for those hurt or killed
and their families.
