September 16 2005 Photography NewsletterWelcome to all the newest Photography Newsletter subscribers! I hope this
update finds you well. I've been busy with the new school season, and
writing new articles for the site. I've also been trying to think of ways
that I can use the column to help survivors of Hurricane Katrina. I'll be
posting an article soon with an idea for how you may be able to help, as
well.
In the meantime, here is the latest article from the Photography site at
BellaOnline.com:
Salvaging Memories: Photo Restoration
When a tragedy like Hurricane Katrina occurs, we first mourn the loss of
life. When the waters recede and the damage is revealed, we mourn the
things we may never recover. Photographs are one of the first items saved
in an emergency. Here's what to do if you have damaged photos that need
restoration.

Please drop by the forum and let me know if you've got any great links to
sites for salvaging damaged photos, tips for restoration after an
emergency, or if you have an idea for using photography to help survivors.

Thanks for your faithful reading, and I hope you have a great weekend! :)
