December 28 2008 Polish Culture NewsletterHello, I hope that you will all forgive me the Christmas delay. On one hand I did not expect to be so busy with family visits, and on the other I thought I will not bother you too much with newsletter during Christmas. I hope you all spent it joyfully and with the ones that you really care for. This week I decided to share with you information on the dishes that I found on Polish tables during Wigilia. The next Christmas is in one year and you are probably not into so much advanced planning (but who knows?:) Most of those dishes are, however, popular meals that one can encounter in Poland throughout the whole year. Maybe you will soon have the opportunity to prepare traditional Polish dinner for your friends! Just be careful, those dishes are full of cabbage and mushrooms. Something for better digestion might be handy:) 12 Christmas Eve dishes It is Polish tradition that during Wigilia (Christmas Eve dinner) 12 dishes must be served. Among them many contain cabbage, mushrooms or poppy. The article will give you some ideas which dishes one can choose for this special evening. Some of the recipes and many more articles connected with Polish Culture you can find at polishculture.bellaonline.com Join our forum community to take part in interesting discussions at Polish Culture Forum where we talk, ask, answer and post photos! Feel free to forward this newsletter to anybody you feel would be interested in Polish Culture. In case of any questions or advices feel free to email me:) As my next newsletter will be already in 2009, I wish you all a Happy New Year! I hope it will bring you only good things! SZCZESLIWEGO NOWEGO ROKU!!!
