October 23 2006 Romance Movies Newsletter

Romantic Movie Quote of the Week:
Can you guess what movie it’s from? The answer is at the bottom of this newsletter!

“You can do what you like! You can take apart the body you put together, you can take away the life you gave me, but you cannot have me. Not ever. Not even if you murder me and raise me up a thousand, thousand times, you cannot have me.”

Here is the latest article from my Romance Movies Site:

4 Weeks of Horror - Monster Madness
Reexamine two horror classics: Frankenstein and the eternal vampire, but watch for the unexpected in these unusual versions.

Recipe of the Week!
This recipe is definitely one of my favorites! Easy, fast caramel corn, right at home! Try it - you won‘t believe how simple it is!

Stovetop Caramel Corn

Ingredients:
3 Quarts popping corn
1C brown sugar
1/4C corn syrup
1 stick butter
1/4 Tsp salt
1/2 TSP baking soda

Directions:
Put popcorn in a large plastic container, preferably a microwave safe container with a sealing lid. Melt the butter, sugar, corn syrup, and salt and mix together. Add the baking soda and stir all ingredients. Pour into the plastic container of popcorn and stir. Seal the container and put it in the microwave. Cook on high for approximately 2 minutes. Watch it closely! Take it out and shake well, then cook for an additional 1 - 2 minutes. Shake popcorn in container again and pour into a bowl. Voila!

This week’s quote is from “The Bride.”
