December 5 2006 Romance Movies Newsletter

Romantic Movie Quote of the Week:
Can you guess what movie it’s from? The answer is at the bottom of this newsletter!

“Do you believe in love at first sight? Nah, I betcha don't, you're probably too sensible for that. Or have you ever, like, seen somebody? And you knew that, if only that person really knew you, they would, well, they would of course dump the perfect model that they were with, and realize that youwere the one that they wanted to, just... grow old with. Have you ever fallen in love with someone you haven't even talked to? Have you ever been so alone you spend the night confusing a man in a coma?!”

Here is the latest article from my Romance Movies Site:

Romance Movies' 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon
Kevin Bacon and “Happy Feet?” How?

To the Thawing Wind
No one writes a better winter’s poem than Robert Frost.

Come with rain. O loud Southwester!
Bring the singer, bring the nester;
Give the buried flower a dream;
make the settled snowbank steam;
Find the brown beneath the white;
But whate'er you do tonight,
bath my window, make it flow,
Melt it as the ice will go;
Melt the glass and leave the sticks
Like a hermit's crucifix;
Burst into my narrow stall;
Swing the picture on the wall;
Run the rattling pages o'er;
Scatter poems on the floor;
Turn the poet out of door.

This week’s quote is from “While You Were Sleeping.”
