I was shocked the other day to see a horseshoe hanging upside down on a little wooden cottage here in Vol'sk. Yet I already know that's the way they do things here. Why should I be shocked? I suppose superstitions run deeper than we think sometimes. I decided to write an article with some of the old beliefs widespread in Russia today, which you can go to below;
