December 19 2010 Scottish Culture Newsletter

Here's the latest article from the Scottish Culture site at BellaOnline.com.

I was sent this book as an early Christmas present and enjoyed looking up words and checking my knowledge of common Scottish terms. I was particualarly attracted by the size of the book - I find large dictionaries daunting, but this compact book is a great way to start to explore some of the words Scots use.

Scottish - English English - Scottish Book Review
This book is a pocket sized introduction to common Scottish words and terms a great gift for those interested in Scottish culture.
