Holidays tend to throw schedules off. When I was a newspaper journalist I was never sure that the day off was worth all the work we had to do in advance of the holiday! So, I apologize for the delay in this week's newsletter.
I've posted two articles this week. One is a book review, Storm by Joyce A. Anthony. Joyce isn't a golden-ager yet, but she is a talented writer. This is her first release, and though I thought there were one or two things that I would have preferred to see handled differently, I wasn't her editor. And the story is worth a read. You can read my review at the Senior Living site. The actual link is: http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art51096.asp.
The other article from the Senior Living site at BellaOnline.com is a continuation of my hearing saga. I hope it's helping you or someone you care about who is struggling with hearing loss. It's not an easy admission to make, is it?
