Using Business Cards for Communication
My son has enjoyed having his own business cards since he was very young - there's no reason we have to wait to provide these 'old school' communication tools to our sons and daughters. Be creative!
Individuals with Down syndrome and communication challenges may find using business cards helpful while networking and building relationships in the community and can establish themselves as advocates when they develop the habit of exchanging cards with medical and educational professionals at meetings.
